Patty Nelson is a freelance nature photographer who resides in picturesque Northern New Mexico. She has been an avid photographer for over 40 years. After receiving her Fine Arts Degree from New Mexico State University, she worked as a commercial artist for Texas A&M University Press.
Through Pattys teaching efforts she received a National Kodak Award in recognition of her work with young people in 4-H.
Her work encompasses a vast array of geographic locations, as well as animal and plant subject matter. From the gulf coast wildlife preserves to ancient Native American cave drawings in Utah, Patty has the trained eye to view our natural world from an artistic perspective.
Her Giclee images are available in your choice of canvas, metal or photographic papers, in a variety of sizes and presentations.
